Job Description

The Case Manager is an hourly employee responsible for providing support services to priority mental health clients, including the chronically mentally ill, seriously disturbed and acutely mentally ill. The Case Manager may also provide support services to co-occurring and substance use disorder clients as assigned. The Case Manager is under the supervision of the agency Director with clinical supervision provided by the Supervisor of unit assigned by Outreach Director and/or Staff Psychiatrist.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in social science, social work or related area preferred. Other specialized training may be substituted. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Two years direct experience in the treatment of mentally ill emotionally disturbed patients and children preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of mental health case management in accordance with WAC 246-341. Must demonstrate knowledge of community issues and dynamics effecting case management services. Must demonstrate knowledge of location, range, and type of services outside of the catchment area for the purpose of referral. Must demonstrate the ability to use good judgement and skills and be capable of performing required responsibilities with minimum supervision as well as the ability to engage difficult to engage clients. Must provide professional references which indicate good job attendance, job performance, professionalism, reliability, ethical behavior consistent with established professional standards. Must provide documentation of all relevant education, training and credentials required for the position. Must have current First Aid card or provide or provide proof within 30 days. Must have an Agency Affiliated License or provide proof of application.

Shift: Full Time Days, 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday

Salary: $23.32-$37.27 DOE
