Job Description

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a registered nurse (RN) leader who performs direct oversight and management of the 24-hour nursing services for the hospital which include the emergency department, the acute care inpatient unit, the OB unit and all hospital-based outpatient services. This position directly supervises approximately 15-20 FTE’s, including one administrative assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Required: Graduate B.S.N. Nursing Degree, or actively enrolled and successfully making progress to degree completion within reasonable time period.
  2. Five (5) years RN experience in ER, OB and Acute Care (Med-Surg).
  3. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and TNCC required within 6 months of start date.
  4. Desired: M.S.N. Degree

SALARY:  Exempt, Salary DOE
