Job Description

The Lead Medical Assistant Certified performs those duties requested by the health care provider that are designated in RCW 18.360, Assists in
examination and treatment of patients under the direction of Physician or Mid-Level Provider.  The Lead Medical Assistant Certified provides day to day supervision of the Medical Assistants.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certification: Must be eligible for Medical Assistant Certification in State of Washington. Must obtain Medical Assistant Certification. Must obtain BLS within six months of employment.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Electronic Medical Records Database software, Internet
software, and Inventory software.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Medical Assistant Certified Licensure issued by the State of Washington.

Salary: $24.49-$39.14 DOE, M-F shifts 8 or 10 hours between 7:30am-6:00pm
