Clinical Social Worker- LICSW Preferred
The Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) provides comprehensive behavioral health and psychosocial support across multiple settings, including the Acute Care, Emergency Department, Extended Care, and Rural Health Clinic. This position supports patients and families coping with illness, injury, chronic disease, and end-of-life care needs. The LICSW delivers counseling, care coordination, and resource support, ensuring that behavioral health and social determinants of health are addressed throughout the continuum of care.
The LICSW serves as a key liaison between inpatient, outpatient, and community services, including coordination of voluntary behavioral health transfers to appropriate facilities. This position also provides palliative and long-term care social work for up to sixteen Extended Care patients and short-term behavioral health interventions for Rural Health Clinic patients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.
Licensure
- Current Washington State License as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Clinical Social Worker Associate with a plan for LICSW completion within one year of hire.
Experience
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, or palliative care setting preferred.
- Experience with discharge planning, behavioral health coordination, or palliative/long-term care strongly desired.
SHIFT: Per-diem, variable
SALARY: $35.37-$49.52 DOE + 10% in lieu of benefits
