Job Description

The Food and Nutritional Services aide performs a variety of tasks such as making salads, sandwiches, dishing up desserts, and washing dishes while maintaining cleanliness and meeting required sanitary conditions for food service equipment and kitchen area. The aide also takes care of the scheduled cleaning of refrigerator and freezer units as well as daily cleaning of kettles, carts, pots and pans, maintains supplies on Acute and LTC.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  1. Education
    1. Ability to read, write and speak English.
  2. Experience
    1. Experience is desirable but not required.
    2. Training and instruction will be provided continuously on the job.
    3. Must obtain a Washington State Food and Beverage Service Workers Permit.

Shift: Part Time, Variable shifts and days including rotating weekends, 0.5 FTE

SALARY: $18.84 - $29.12/hour DOE for Dietary Aide Shifts, $20.79-$33.22/hour DOE for Cook Shifts
