Dietary Aide: The Food and Nutritional Services aide performs a variety of tasks such as making salads, sandwiches, dishing up desserts, and washing dishes while maintaining cleanliness and meeting required sanitary conditions for food service equipment and kitchen area. The aide also takes care of the scheduled cleaning of refrigerator and freezer units as well as daily cleaning of kettles, carts, pots and pans, maintains supplies on Acute and Extended Care.

Cook: Responsible for preparation of all meals for patients and employees according to established menus and standardized recipes. Maintains required cleanliness and sanitation in work areas and complies with state regulations pertaining to food service in health care institutions. Has on-site authority to act on problems that may arise in the absence of the Food Services Director. May perform other related food service duties when requested. Relates well to other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read, write and speak English. Experience is desirable but not required. Training and instruction will be provided continuously on the job. Must obtain a Washington State Food and Beverage Service Workers Permit

Shift: 0.5 FTE variable shifts & days, rotating weekends

SALARY:

For Aide shifts: $19.70-$30.45 DOE

For Cook shifts: $21.73-$34.73 DOE
