Lead Physical Therapist- Full Time- In house only
The Lead Physical Therapist oversees the delivery of high-quality physical therapy services, ensures clinical excellence, and provides leadership to the therapy team. This role combines direct patient care as a licensed Physical Therapist with supervisory responsibilities, including staff mentorship, program development, and coordination of clinical operations.
This position requires the Lead Physical Therapist to oversee and perform examinations, physical therapy diagnoses, rehabilitation prognoses, and therapeutic interventions for patients requiring physical therapy services, following medical screening and referral by a physician and in accordance with Washington State licensure requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy or has certificate of successful completion from a recognized physical therapy program. Holds current Washington State Physical Therapist License. Familiar with all facets of Physical Therapy, as practiced within Hospital. Skilled in interpersonal communication with ability to relate well to patients, the public, hospital staff, all levels of health care providers in a clear, professional verbal and/or written manner. One (1) year clinical experience is required to perform services at off-site facility. Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system or experience with similar electronic health record system. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Prefer prior experience in a supervisory or lead role. Experience with quality improvement or program development. Able to stand for extended periods, stoop, bend, squat, reach overhead, walk, sit, lift, and perform other typical physical tasks related for this position. Able to lift to 50 lbs. and assist with patient mobility. Able to handle stressful situations effectively. Maintain patient confidentiality. Able to organize and prioritize job duties and accomplish responsibilities in an interruptive atmosphere.
Salary: $53.79-$75.31/hour DOE
