Job Description

The Nursing Technician is a student enrolled in an accredited nursing approved program until they receive their Registered Nurse license. The Nursing Technician is a member of the nursing team in providing care on a particular unit. The Nursing Technician can be hired in two roles: Giving individualized care under the direction and supervision of a licensed registered nurse. Assisting with general clinical responsibilities that may contribute directly and indirectly to patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse.The nursing technician is authorized only to perform specific nursing functions within the limits of their education, up to their skills and knowledge, completed Nursing classes, as verified by their nursing program. Nurse Technician will provide the supervisor with their skills they have obtained through school and update these quarterly or as needed. The Nurse Technician position shall only be available for up to 6 months after graduation from their nursing program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school graduate or GED equivalency
2. Enrolled in an accredited nursing approved program required
3. Nursing Assistant certification required
4. Nursing Technician registration required

Salary: $20.75-$33.16 DOE

Shift: Day shift
