Radiologic Technologist III Lead, Full Time *In House Only*
The Radiology Tech III Lead serves as an advanced-level imaging professional and departmental leader responsible for performing complex diagnostic imaging procedures while providing daily operational oversight of radiology staff and workflow. This position functions as a clinical resource, mentor, and liaison between technologists, radiologists, physicians, and leadership to ensure exceptional patient care, quality imaging services, regulatory compliance, and efficient departmental operations in a hospital setting.
To diagnose injury or disease a physician often utilizes a variety of X-ray examinations. Radiological technologists perform these procedures according to the physician's orders. The technologist instructs the patient and prepares them by positioning the part of the body to be radiographed. For themselves and patients, radiation protection is observed at all times. Requires being certified in at least two other modalities including Mammography, CT and/or MRI contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.
QUALIFICATIONS: Satisfactory completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program and American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Registry. Certified ARRT CT Technologist and Certified ARRT Mammography Technologist and/or certified AART MRI Technologist. Licensed in Radiologic Technology and Computed Tomography and Mammography with the State of Washington. Experience in a rural hospital setting with on-call experience preferred. Minimum of five years of progressively responsible radiologic technology experience. Demonstrated leadership, charge, or lead technologist experience.
Shift: Full Time, Day shift, 4- 10 hour shifts
SALARY: $44.45- $71.04, DOE
