Job Description

Acts as first point of contact for incoming patients, inquiries via phone and in person; schedules patients appointments for medical professionals in a pleasant and professional manner; prepares patient charts, and patient treatment areas; compiles departmental data and maintains supply levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education:
    1. High School Diploma or GED.
    2. Business College and/or office experience preferred.
  2. Training:
    1. Ability to operate word processor, calculator, multiple phone line system and copy machine.
    2. Computer experience required.
    3. Experience in health care desirable.
    4. Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
  3. Knowledge/Abilities:
    1. Ability to verbally and written communicate clearly with the public, staff and medical providers.
    2. Ability to process incoming patients and prepare documentation material.
    3. Ability to computer generate and develop forms, letters, patient education materials, including graphics.
    4. Ability to operate computer, calculator, multiple phone line system, copier and fax machines

Shift: 10 hour weekdays, 7:30am-5:30pm

Salary: $16.65-$20.99 DOE
