Job Description
As an Ultrasound Tech/ Sonographer, you will be integral to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a hospital setting. Reporting to the Director of Imaging, your role will involve utilizing your experience in sonography and medical imaging to perform examinations, ensuring patient care and comfort throughout the process. Your core knowledge of anatomy and physiology will enhance accuracy of diagnoses. Strong communication skilles will be essential in collaborating with medical staff and explaining procedures to patients, contributing to a supportive healthcare environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program required.
Certification/Licensure: ARDMS Registered or registry eligible in the following areas: Abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, vascular required. Experience in adult echocardiography preferred.
Experience: Two years’ experience in a rural hospital setting preferred.
Shift: Full Time
SALARY: $41.66- $69.63, DOE
