Job Description

Qualified and appropriately credentialed chemical dependency professional to supervise and coordinate staff providing direct client services, coordination and development of program activities, as well as supervision of quality assurance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: A two year degree in human services or related field from an accredited college or university.  The course work shall include all WAC 246-811-030 academic requirements and course work. Current Certification from the State of Washington Dept. of Health as Chemical Dependency Professional per Chapter 18.205 RCW (WAC 246-811).

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: 4000 hours of experience in state approved chemical dependency treatment agency; post CDP eligibility. Twenty eight clock hours of recognized supervisory training may be substituted for one thousand hours of experience. Ability to supervise, review and evaluate therapeutic techniques of personnel providing direct client services. Ability to supervise a program consisting of staff with varied experience and training. Ability to design and implement new program areas. Must demonstrate knowledge and competence in alcoholism and drug abuse issues in accordance with WAC 246-811-049.

Shift: Full Time, Exempt , Mon.- Fri.

SALARY: $24.69-34.55/hour
