Unit Secretary NAC- Full Time Days, Acute Care

The Unit Secretary maintains productive interpersonal relationships with nursing staff, providers, patients, visitor, and other hospital departments to facilitate patient care. The Unit Clerk maintains inventory of supplies and equipment. The Unit Secretary is responsible for coordinating the unit; for handling all unit paperwork and non-nursing tasks. The Unit Secretary exercises considerable independence in the planning and accomplishment of a wide spectrum of clerical duties. These responsibilities are often carried out simultaneously and with constant interruptions. Assist Certified Nursing Assistant with patient care daily and/ or as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a Nursing Assistant Certified Program. CPR Card within six months of employment. Washington State License for Nursing Assistant Certified. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Shift: Full Time Days, M-F, 8 hour shifts

SALARY: $23.51-$37.57, DOE
